The Opportunity

5-star unique property  Melbourne seeks a commercially sharp and people-centric General Manager to lead a high-performing operation across 100 + rooms, and approximately three distinct F&B venues, and a strong meetings & events business.

About the Role

Reporting to the OS regional leadership team, you’ll own end-to-end performance—elevating guest experience, driving GOP, and developing a winning culture. You’ll partner closely with the ownership group and brand to deliver best-in-class standards while growing market share in Melbourne’s premium segment.Which is very competitive indeed .Due to this extensive Melbourne experience is essential.

🌍 Key Requirements

  • Proven success as a GM (or EAM stepping up) within upper-upscale/luxury, internationally branded hotels

  • Strong P&L and revenue management acumen; track record of outperforming comp set

  • Depth in multi-venue F&B operations and premium events/conferences

  • Inspirational leadership style with disciplined execution and talent development focus

  • Brand/owner savvy, with polished stakeholder communication

💼 The Package

  • Base salary circa AUD $200,000 – $220,000 (plus performance incentives)

  • Additional executive benefits in line with an international 5-star operation
